Normal Everyday Wear

cream shirt, blue jeans, brown boots
Headband: Target; Sweater: Loft; Jeans: C'est Toi via Marshalls; Boots: Guess; Belt: John Wye

Hello Blog World!  I'm Heyni and after reading fashion blogs for the past year and a half I decided to take the leap and join in on the fun. I've been working in hospitals since I was 19, and in Febuary I started working as a nurse anesthetist.  I love my job and every day is different, but wearing light blue scrubs that don't fit gets very boring.  So during the weekends I try to dress a little nicer so I can finally express myself.

I've obtained a lot of inspiration from the various blogs I follow, and my fashion sense has slowly developed over the years.  I hope that with this blog I will continue to become more adventurous in my sartorial choices.  Hope you come along for the ride.

It's raining outside and it's fifty degrees, so I opted for something warm and comfortable. Although I love colors I also wear a lot of creams and browns.  My boyfriend, Jay, was taking the pictures and making me laugh.  He kept telling me to stay still, so the pictures wouldn't be blurry so I did.

Quick word on the belt.  Where I live there are farmer's markets and artist shops that pop up on the weekends. I saw this belt at one of the little tents and fell in love.  Who wouldn't love a belt with dinosaurs eating toast?
